Laskaris Charalampos was born in Salonica Greece ,where he lives and works most of his life. Recently he has moved to Costantinople for family reasons and spends half his life there.He started his painting endeavors at an early age,and has since made it a way of life. He made free studies and attended some seminars in his home city,but has taken advantage of internet to enrich his knowledge. At the age of sixteen he participated in an exhibition in YMCA and in 1994 he organized his first solo exhibition. He studied English Literature in Salonica and History of Art. He had 7 solo and more than 70 group exhibitions in Greece and Cyprus. He has been vice president in the painters' club of Salonica for a period. His themes are inspired from Greece, monasteries, still life and sights of Anatolia. His last solo exhibition was organized in the Hilton Parksa in Costantinople with the presence of the Patriarch.
